‘Wait for me’ is the new single from Agat’s upcoming album ‘With The Incrowd’, Featuring the Detroit Based rapper & artist and a member of the hip hop group Bruiser Brigade, Zelooperz. The highly-anticipated album is set to drop this week and feature 10 unmissable tracks.
Produced by Gal Oved, the lead track ‘Wait for me’ showcases rough and dusty sounds, aggressive yet emotional deliveries and memorable hooks, all wrapped in polished outlines.
‘Wait For Me’ is accompanied by an animated music video created by Dean Naim. It captures the essence and words of the song while representing Agat’s fears of living in a world driven by our growing need for precise control, the eagerness to feel superior over others, or the knack of using cheap thrills to be ‘happy’ as easily and quickly as possible.
The video starts with Agat creating ‘the ideal sandwich,’ which is snatched away from her just as it is done. She goes on a quest for the missing components in a dystopian environment. On that journey, she goes to any length to reclaim and relive that sense of fulfilment. Even if it requires stealing, getting dirty, or fighting. She meets different characters, triggering different emotions from her, amongst them Zelooperz that joins her quest.
Agat’s ability to demonstrate raw emotion by combining electronic timbres and powerful synth motifs amounts to a stellar album, cementing her in a league of her own as she delivers her unique modern twist on popular genres. The upcoming album is dropping this week and will include additional features Pink Siifu, Zelooperz. Gido, and Egozi.
