Get ready to SCREAMMMM (and not just cause it’s halloween)… This weekend, two of our ride-or-die UK festivals are teaming up to transform Drumsheds into an immersive madhouse. Word about London tells us that by morphing Boomtown’s chaotic storyline with elrow’s psychedelic world, they created a moment so explosive, it ripped a hole in the fabric of reality, creating a portal to an alternate dance dimension right on Drumsheds’ doorstep (convenient)…
For those brave enough to step inside, “The story begins with Boomtown’s elected figurehead, The Collector, whose portal-opening ritual goes horribly wrong, thrusting everyone into the chaotic hell dimension of elrow. As creatures from elrow’s twisted carnival pour through the portal, both worlds collide in a fusion of sounds, colours, and madness. This immersive storyline challenges goers to find the courage to enter this warped reality, where the brave and the foolish will dance together until they uncover the key to closing the portal and saving our world…” So start summoning your inner rave gremlin.
Room X will contort into a “Carnival in Hell,” where fire, brimstone, and funhouse merge soundtracked by a bass-fueled frenzy. Over in Y you’ll find a “Metropolis – Underworld,” encapsulating a futuristic queer rave with neon-fueled energy and beats so heavy they might vibrate you outta the building. Finally, Room Z, aka the “Forsaken Forest,” will transport Jungle fans into a haunted rainforest straight out of Boomtown’s Botanica Zoo. Look out for animal scientists at the door—apparently, they’ve got tests lined up to see if you’re wild enough to survive the night.
