Broke Mag’s Guide To Maiden Voyage Festival

Maiden Voyage returns for its fifth edition, and this year, it’s celebrating a new home in South London’s Burgess Park. This festival has become a staple for electronic music lovers, and the 2024 edition promises to be better than ever. With stage hosts Adonis, Live From Earth, UNFOLD, and PXSSY PALACE, attendees can expect an unforgettable experience.

Excitement is already  building around this year’s lineup and it will feature a diverse range of artists, including legendary names like Mall Grab, Jayda G, MCR-T , and Arca (Live). Maiden Voyage isn’t just about electronic music; it spans across diverse genres, offering a rich and varied experience that caters to a wide range of musical tastes and preferences.

With four bespoke stages and over 30 artists, unlike most other festivals, where there is an obvious headline act who plays the final slot and for the longest time, Maiden Voyage has a more equitable balance among its acts. So no matter the time each stage will offer a unique sound, ensuring there’s something for everyone. PXSSY PALACE will curate this year’s main stage, bringing their unique energy and vision to the forefront. London’s own club, Adonis and Berlin-based collective Live From Earth will host their own stages, adding to the festival’s diverse and energetic vibe. The iconic UNFOLD Sunday party from Canning Town’s Fold will also make a triumphant return for a second year, promising to keep the momentum going strong.

Burgess Park, with its idyllic grounds and scenic lake, offers a beautiful contrast to the surrounding urban landscape. This centrally-located venue provides an ideal setting for this year’s festival. The move from Lee Valley Park to Burgess Park marks a new chapter for Maiden Voyage, one that promises to bring the same beloved stages to a fresh, vibrant location.
