Cook’s Club Sessions Kolymbia: A Raving & Wellness Retreat On The Greek Island of Rhodes

After a heavy season of raving, we’re in dire need of some relaxation, but already itching to find our next dance floor and spend a night getting lost in front of some DJ decks to wobs wooblies and womps, we’ve tracked down a way to do both, that’s where Cook’s Club Sessions comes in…

Next week, we’ll be making our way to the Greek island of Rhodes to check out their summer closing event at the brand’s Kolymbia Hotel, an adults-only venue that’ll be hosting headline DJ Olive F and supporting artist Blehrin for an open-air rave running from day to dusk on Wednesday the 16th.

For anyone unfamiliar with this niche addition to the events scene, Cook’s Club Sessions unite DJs and wellness in an earthy oasis, each location designed with a zen and free-spirited atmosphere in mind. Their Kolymbia venue is made for electronic music enthusiasts, a rave and retreat hybrid consisting of 271 rooms, where the community can connect and enjoy everything from morning flow dance meditations, resident DJs setting the scene with mood-matching remixes and of course, their main event, curated picks of the scene’s hottest established and underground artists that are the beating heart of Cook’s Club Sessions.

Landing Defected’s Paisley Jensen for their debut session back in September and Smokin Jo spinning the decks at Adakoy Hotel earlier this month, it’s safe to say Cook’s Club knows how to pick fire names. Now, rising underground artist Olive F, who’s played everywhere from Elrow to ADE and is Fabric-London approved as of August, will be bringing her godly collection of vinyls to the rocky hills of Rhodes (whoever’s doing their bookings deserves a raise).

Amidst bringing ride-or-die DJs from the shores of Ibiza and stages of Glastonbury for nights soundtracked by deep house, disco and everything in between, they’ll be catering to our bodies with grub stretching from Greek cuisine to Asian street food (and some vegan snacks that we’ll be eyeing up). From what we’ve heard so far, it sounds like the perfect place to wind down, recover and cure the post-summer blues for anyone craving one last beachy blast before wrapping it up and returning to warehouse venues and cosy clubs.

For any Brokerz ready to join us for the ride, bookings are available here and for the rest of you, we’ll report back next week on whether it’s worth popping a Cook’s Club Session in the diary for next year…
