DIY RnB/Pop powerhouse Josh Lumsden Releases Industrial House Track “Right Here”

Josh Lumsden, an independent DIY pop musician and producer, has released a new tune named “Right Here” today. This joyful industrial house track comes after the release of breakthrough songs with RuPaul’s Drag Race champion Yvie Oddly (“Energy”) and Australian pop star Brendan Maclean (“Drowning”).

Josh is a self-produced Mexican-American artist known for constructing supernatural earworms that merge R&B, witch core, and dance into a dark experimental pop blender. He is inspired by artists such as Shygirl, BANKS, and Grimes. The mysterious musician, who is from Texas, began making his own music as a child and became formally educated in music theory and a variety of instruments. Josh has 493k views across all streaming platforms and has played in locations around NYC, as praised by Saint Audio for his “standout” producing work.

“Right Here” is pure melodic pop enchantment inspired by being the last person left at a Brooklyn warehouse rave just before the lights come on. Josh says, “Industrial house music has so many captivating elements that inspire me as an artist. The overall vibe of ‘Right Here’ is trying to recreate the feelings I’ve felt in NYC queer underground nightlife.”
