London based producer Duskus releases ‘Let Go’ as the second single to his highly anticipated EP ‘Healers Vol.1’.
Duskus immediately established himself as a creative marvel after bursting into the scene in 2015. Duskus continues to earn millions of plays on infectiously catchy solo tracks and collaboration releases with the likes of Taska Black and San Holo, collaborating with DJ Mag for his first live concert and receiving tremendous support from Spotify Viral 50 USA. Duskus, who is currently working on his second EP, recently played on the legendary Do LaB Stage at Coachella 2022.
Duskus’ sound shifts with ‘Let Go,’ as he harnesses his love of 2000s UK rave music into his production, reminiscent of earlier parties he visited as a youth.
The 25-year-take old’s on the classic rave sound draws inspiration from Overmono, DJ Seinfield, Tourist, and Fred Again, and ushers in a new chapter for Duskus’ sound, with an emphasis on compelling rhythms and simplicity, dubbed ‘romantic rave.’
The release will be accompanied by the debut of Duskus’ monthly event series ‘Romantic Rave,’ which is inspired by how he describes the lush sound of the upcoming EP. The event will be headlined and hosted by Duskus, who will be fronting and hosting this modern sound.
Speaking on the inspiration for ‘Let Go’, Duskus explains: “This beat is a little different, I wanted to make some simple again that wasn’t super ‘poppy’. As I was on tour I didn’t have access to any of my equipment so I wanted to see if I could make something just on my laptop like the old days – this is the result of me messing around.”
‘Let Go,’ backed by house influenced percussion, is a release with a motivating attitude, as Duskus once again proves his creative ability, using classic rave inspirations to build a fantastically refreshing release.
