It’s our first time discovering the name Luke Dean, but we’re already putting a ‘Predicted To Pop Off In 2024’ stamp on his name (one listen to the DJ/Producer’s newest tune ‘Get Hard’, at your Friday-night pres and you’ll hear why).
Going from a recreational bedroom DJ (we can relate) to a promising producer in little over half a decade, his latest house heater ‘Get Hard (You In The Lobby)’ plays proactive vocals against funky synths and swooshes, and it belongs in a red-lit basement venue or London’s most intimate rave space (17 Little Portland Street, we’ve found your next DJ).
Teetering the tightrope between emerging and established, Luke Dean (in our opinion) is one solid track away from rising to the next rank in electronic music and with an with an exciting pipeline of releases planned for the next 12 months, don’t be surprised if to seeing his name popping up on the flyers of your favourite rave venues and festivals.
