LFW SS25 | Olli Hull’s Quirky Interactive Runway

Olli Hull captivated an intimate audience at Cloud X during his latest London Fashion Week presentation. The evening, a seamless blend of art and sustainable fashion, offered attendees an immersive experience inside Olli’s creative world.

Stepping into the space felt like entering Olli Hull’s personal wardrobe, with the atmosphere set to be intimate yet electric. Guests had the unique opportunity to not only browse but also try on pieces from his latest collection, while enjoying complimentary drinks and canapés. The intimate setup allowed guests to engage directly with the pieces, amplifying the sense of connection to Olli’s sustainable and inclusive design ethos.

Olli’s newest collection was presented on a stationary catwalk, spotlighting his recent design developments. Each piece demonstrated his up-cycling techniques, with garments reconstructed from second-hand and vintage clothing, expertly distressed and reimagined. True to his signature style, Hull’s hand-painted illustrations adorned every piece, transforming the garments into wearable art.

Midway through the evening, models took to the catwalk to showcase a selection of Hull’s iconic pieces from previous collections. However, the true highlight came at the end of the presentation when Olli Hull himself made a walk down the catwalk to join a model dressed in a vintage, floral 1980s-style bridesmaid dress, waiting at a station. In an exciting live performance, Olli showcased his upcycling mastery by transforming the dress in real-time. With a flurry of paint and spray cans, he reimagined the piece, splattering it with his distinctive illustrations and colours, creating an unforgettable moment that underscored his commitment to artistic self expression and sustainable fashion.

The event was an artistic spectacle, blending fashion, performance, and sustainability in a way that felt authentically Olli Hull. As guests departed, they left with not just a glimpse of Hull’s visionary designs but a deeper appreciation for the future of sustainable fashion.
