Record label founded by Gabber Eleganza, Never Sleep proudly presents Italian producer, Money Lang‘s new thrilling 5-track EP titled “$22″. An ecstatic fil rouge and an unending glow of solstice have simmered throughout the project, and this time it’s so effervescent it practically pops in your ears.
Dario Tronchin, a European recording artist, is the man behind Money Lang. The artist crafts a gorgeous melodic sound saturated in ‘peak time’ sonics yet keeping great discipline, breaking and deconstructing aspects of french touch and avant-pop into a fun sonic menage.
Speaking on the EP, Money Lang says “The intention behind the EP was to release a continuation, sort of season 2 or summer 2 – if you will – of the Money Lang project since the mixtape. I focused more on structure, texture and overall curation of the whole package. The main idea is to deliver all heaters, no fillers.” He also stresses how he wants the EP to represent a ‘happy pill’ feeling, “I want the listener to feel euphoric, frenzied and possibly, happier. Music to go to McDonald’s with your friends to.“
The album’s solar charge is led by ‘Gucci Airbags,’ a masterclass in exploiting space for the most explosive impact, which was released on the last day of summer. ‘Talk2You, Talk2Me’ returns to the medium of simplicity for a sincere effect, while ‘BML’ is lustfully luscious in its sonics.
Money Lang steps into his own and carves out a sound for the fire within us all.
