The London-based freelance stylist/artist Gia presents the queer fashion story, entitled “OUTKAST’S”.
Gia is a proud member of the queer community who wants to capture the inherently subversive, chaotic and ‘free’ essence of those who belong to it. Gia desires to find the most beauty and power amongst trans individuals, due to all the endured hardship and strength that comes out of it.
“OUTKAST’S” is a story about queer beauty. A day out on a sunny day by the British seaside, in Brighton. A series of fleeting, mundane moments like checking out the local pub. In total, the shoot took place in four different locations: in a local pub, by the big ‘doughnut’ statue on the port, next to colourful typical Brighton doors and on the roof of a big parking lot.
As an integral part of Gia’s styling practices, all garments were thrifted by Moi-meme and styling is a homage to the early ‘lady gaga’ or ‘indie-sleazy’ years of the early 2010s.
