Prospa Is Reviving The Golden Age Of Raves With Their New EP ‘If You Want My Loving’

Prospa, aka Harvey Blumer and Gosha Smith, long-time mates from Leeds, first broke through the surface of the underground dance music scene (which they’d been dabblin’ in since 2013) with one of their most simped over tunes to date ‘Prayer’. Since then, they’ve had crowds going feral from the underground basements of Fabric London to the fields of Glastonbury festival, building a fanbase of half a million monthly listeners who have no doubt been gagging over the release of their new EP ‘If You Want My Loving’ along with us.

Channelling the energy of their live sets into this two-track release, the dance-music duo have merged the essence of bassline-heavy grooves with touches of Chicago House and Chemical Brothers-style breaks. Indulging in meditative moments and emotionally charged anthems, the pair pay homage to the euphoria of ’90s raves with the soulful, acid-tinged title track ‘If You Want My Loving’, meanwhile the lip-bitingly good ‘Motions’ has been shaking up dance floors, getting major props from legends like DJ Seinfeld.

This EP is set to be on heavy rotation all summer long and for the vinyl purists, there’s an exclusive bonus track that’ll make your turntable purr. Whether you’re a long-time fan or new to the Prospa party, plug in, turn up the volume, and let ‘If You Want My Loving’ take you back to the golden age of rave…
