A fresh blend of deep-hitting beats and DnB breaks, the track creates a space where electronic music and emotions collide, circling through moments of elevation with dreamy synths followed by raw grounding rhythms, that emulate the highs and lows of a bittersweet love that ultimately isn’t meant to be – we’ve all been there.
There’s an undeniable intimacy to the production, the kind of organic energy that only comes when working in a space that’s all your own. Along with her close collaborator George Gianluca, “Nothing Ever Changes” explores the repetitive relationship cycles we often get stuck in and the route to finding clarity and freedom within them. There’s tension and a sense of desire but the track never lingers too long in the dark, upbeat in its own way the rhythm is weirdly uplifting, empowering us through lyrics to tap into something more introspective.
