We’ve been following Sound Of Fractures since his last single ‘Meant To Be’ landed a few months back, the first reason being that we’re suckers for some emotional garage mixed with electronica and secondly, because there’s an air of unexpectedness surrounding him which makes each drop as exciting as the next. After digging through the tracklist for his new album (released yesterday) to find something that’s a bit of us, we came across ‘Scenes’, the lead single of this latest release.
Before you give it a listen, we’ll warn you, it’s a little chaotic (so of course it’s a bit of us). Reminiscent of the current state of the world as we aim to focus on beauty amongst the mayhem surrounding us, the intro to this track leads us in with a siren-filled soundscape, indistinguishable whispered words and a euphoric underlying rhythm creating that swelling feeling in your chest that any decent track does. The song, underpinned by his concept of intertwining personal stories with music, is part of an ongoing project for the artist which encapsulates and represents his growing community through sound.
