Swedish dance-pop sensation Yaeger has set the stage on fire with her latest release, the eagerly awaited ‘Jaguar’ EP. The vibrant artist, who’s currently riding the airwaves of Swedish radio, shares her latest hit singles like “Water Pistol,” “Lupins in Blue,” and “Ciao.” Following the success of her recent collaboration with Icona Pop on “Shit We Do For Love,” Yaeger has already sunk her claws into the world of dance-pop.
Yaeger’s meteoric rise to fame has been nothing short of astounding – with a slew of chart-topping tracks under her belt. Co-written by Yaeger, aka Hanna Jäger, and Sebastian Furrer (known for his work with Avicii, Loreen, and Ed Sheeran), ‘Jaguar’ is a 6-track EP that conveys a rollercoaster of emotion, expertly blending bittersweet undertones with heart-pounding energy. The title track, “Jaguar,” is a standout gem, intriguingly sampled from the electronic duo Boards of Canada’s “Kaini Industries,” showcasing Yaeger’s audacious sonic ambitions from the get-go.
According to Yaeger herself, “Jaguar is about who you become when you’re running somewhere in between love affairs. You’re alone but constantly surrounded by people and friends. I think I’ve felt like a lonely stray cat for a while now, running around in different cities and writing music. As soon as you leave something, you’re constantly searching until you find security in yourself again, and eventually maybe in someone else. And a lot of crazy things can happen in between. But you also find a lot of beauty. And it became an EP.”
Earlier this year, she joined forces with Icona Pop on their latest album, ‘CLUB ROMANTECH,’ adding to a resume that already includes collaborations with Hayden James, Danny L Harle, Hit Impulse, Cosmo’s Midnight, Oscar Scheller, and Casper the Ghost. With tracks like “Waiting For Nothing,” featuring Haydn James, amassing over 10 million Spotify streams and becoming the #1 played track on Australian radio station Triple J. She has also graced stages like Brighton’s Great Escape and the Waiting Room in London. Now, with her newest release, she’s prepared to captivate audiences even further and seize the spotlight.
In a world where pop music is often the sound of survival, Yaeger’s ‘Jaguar’ EP is the roar of a thriving artist ready to conquer new territory.
With a sound that’s both emotionally resonant and dancefloor-ready, she’s carving out her own path in the dance-pop jungle with the ‘Jaguar’ EP – leaving her mark and inviting the world to join the journey. As she continues to reign as one of Sweden’s most exciting musical exports, this body of music is the next chapter.
