The beams has entered London’s electronic music scene with a bang, if you happened to attend ABODE last weekend, you’d have tasted a sampling of fresh sounds, basked in the atmosphere and watched LWE’s venue receive a nod of support from the city’s electronic-music elite. (It’s certainly got Broke Magazine’s approval.)
Following the sold-out edition of ABODE In The Park, London’s favourite party collective took over the venue’s freshly-installed decks creating a techno house paradise and delivering 10 hours of dance-worthy rythms from midday until the early evening.
Split across two rooms, their selection of thirteen trailblazing DJs, including Alisha, Andrea Oliva, Banksie, Ben Rau, Ellie Cocks, GW Harrison and Richy Ahmed, transformed the warehouse venue into an experience for the ears.
Inside the windowless setting of The Beams’ second room, thick beats coated the air and bounced off the bricked walls. As the heat rose, house tunes enclosed ravers, and attendees escaped into the dance dimension.
Over in The Beams’ main room, sun sets and silhouettes of over 1000 ravers were illuminated from the dark by blinding strobe lights sourced from the back of the stage, luminescent A’s were littered across the ceiling, reminding ravers of the music legends responsible for the ambience.
