The Geor Sisters B2B Broke Magazine

Patricija and Andrea Geor, better known as “The Geors,” have made a name for themselves in both music and fashion as an electrifying twin DJ duo. They bring together a love for melodic sounds, visual arts, and a deep connection to balanced energies, which they represent through their interpretation of Yin and Yang. Born on March 5, 2003, these Pisces twins infuse their intuitive, creative nature into every aspect of their work.

Their musical journey started with a strong foundation in piano and vocals, competing in events that showcased their talent for both. These early experiences laid the groundwork for their transition into electronic music, where they blend classical influences with contemporary beats. Visual arts have also been a key part of their evolution, as their passion for painting and other artistic forms has seamlessly integrated into their DJ performances, creating a distinct, immersive experience for their audiences. Broke goes B2B with the duo to find out their rise to fame, music discography and everything under the belt….

How did you both realise that you wanted to become DJs?

We have always been in the music, starting from a young age by playing piano and attending music school our loves. Later on we started organising private events simply from love, by gathering our people and enjoying the house music which mainly we were playing (but still not as a profession though). In a blink of an eye moment; an idea crossed our minds of becoming a dj duo as a profession (cause when your job is your passion, you will never work actually in your life, only enjoying and adventuring, which is the ultimate purpose).

Were there any specific artists that inspired you when growing up?

The music industry is full of art and inspiration, a limitless space of creativity and motivators. We have been drawing inspiration starting from variousness of artists (note* not all from our genre of music) leading to variousness of labels, radios, magazines.. Who we can point out now as being our inspiration and finding them extravagant are Clara Cuvé and Rodhad Wsnwg.

If you could describe your sound in three words what would it be?

Adoration, Exhilaration, Conundrum.

Can you share one of your most memorable moments?

Ah so so many of them, so much beautiful people, so many beautiful people, really hard to answer this one actually hah! Although we do can share the most recent one, that’s the event we had in Capri, Italy. Beautiful Island full of natural beauties.

If there was any venue/festival you could play at where would it be?

It would definitely be pleasure to perform on Untold Festival. We love this Fest’s energy, love the dynamics and the whole vibe this event has it self.

Is there anyone in the industry who inspires you?

Inspirations we find around ourselves all the time. What inspires us on daily basis is the music by itself actually, by constantly listening to fresh releases from various artists in different areas in the music industry. An enormous inspiration are also the Blogs, Radios and Magazines like You -Broke Mag- actually dear, giving us constantly opportunities to express ourselves and once again find our selves. And the “cherry” on our inspiration is our community, our constant listeners and followers of our work, giving us the ultimate motivation to be more creative and persistent in what we do.

Do you have any sister’s squabbles?

We come on some squibbles over creative important decisions making, what we call “necessary dusting in studio”. But we also find these ones vital for the best outcome in our work.

How do you prepare for the set?

The preparations are never ending journey in our work, considering the fact that we always have to be upfront with the daily fresh track releases, as well as our newest feature in our performances – which is Djing combined with tunes of Piano coming directly live from us, exposure of us as a Dj Band now. On this new feature we are super excited by the way. Above all, on what we always focus the most during our preparations is our energy, what we convey to our crowds.

Which artist would you love to collaborate with?

Would be pleasure to collaborate with Black Coffee. We have been following his work since forever, his releases are timeless.

What challenges do you face as being a young beautiful sister duo in a stereotypically male-dominated industry?

Nowadays the Dj Industry is actually inhabited by a serious number of Female Djs as well dear. The Industry is constantly seeking for young motivated ladies to show up their skills in the Dj world and is supporting them from various sources. But above all; the gender is not in consideration, but the true talent, what we have noticed along our journey.
