Broadwick Live Announce Headliners For The First Series Of DRUMSHEDS Events

With two months until doors open, DRUMSHEDS today announces the first drop of heavy headliners and hosts for their opening season and 12 debut events. Opening this Autumn, DRUMSHEDS promises to be the most significant cultural centre of its kind in London, housed in a 608,000 sqft North London warehouse.

The collection of names include Gorgon City, Worried About Henry, Andy C, Major League Djz, The Hydra, Charlotte De Witte, La Discothèque, Paradise, BuggedOut!, and MORE… (We’d expect nothing less from Broadwick Live, the minds behind Printworks & Beams.)

The first show announced, La Discothèque, will be an all-grooving disco party packed out with spangles, sequins and dancers. Headlining will be La Discothèque Orchestra, a duo of disco’s most formidable queens; Evelyn ‘Champagne’ King and Jocelyn Brown, plus Kenny Dope, Derrick Carter, Hercules & Love Affair, DJ Sneak, Norman Jay MBE, Sophie Lloyd, SNO, Bestley and more all delivering an eclectic mix of disco, funk, house and balearic.

All dimensions of house and techno will be explored in DRUMSHEDS’ first run of events, with Gorgon City headlining on October 14th alongside Armand Van Helden and Oden & Fatzo followed by Elrow who’ll host ‘Horroween’ just two weeks later. House heads are also in for a treat as Jamie Jones brings the infamous Paradise party to DRUMSHEDS on November 18th, for what guarantees to be an unmissable night, and techno fans can look forward to long-standing Broadwick affiliate Charlotte De Witte’s soiree’ KNTXT’ to the new venue.

Speaking on their latest space, Broadwick Live’s Director of Music, Ajay Jayaram said, “DRUMSHEDS as a cultural project is about creativity and impact at scale. Some of music’s biggest artists, labels and brands are working with us to curate shows that are unparalleled in terms of size and production in the capital, offering our guests an experience unlike anything before. And we are really grateful to all of the artists and partners who have joined us on this inaugural journey, for their support and their willingness to step outside of their comfort zones to create something unique with the team Broadwick Live. We’re looking forward to sharing the full line-ups for the entire opening season, at the end of August.”
