ELLES Reworks ‘Anthem’ From Her Debut Album Into A Hedonistic, Dance-Floor-Ready UKG Track

London-based artist and producer ELLES takes UKG flavours and flips them on their head in her new remix ‘Anthem (Angel Of Rhythm Refix Pt.2)’. The Rinse FM host shows us how she has blossomed as a multi-genre artist, creating what she explains is ‘a tears-in-the-club vibe’ in this self-reflective re-work of her 2022 release ‘Anthem’ part of ELLES’s debut album A Celebration Of The Euphoria Of Life

Combining a dreamy melody with flickering tones and a gritty bass, ELLES takes a track about grief and gives it a hedonistic energy. Her evolution as an artist is clear, with this remix allowing her to have ‘creative conversations with past versions’ of herself.

Fusing together the sounds of acid house, post punk, UKG and dream pop, ELLES has an ability to bend genres to craft a rhythmic blend. After her recent show at Real Lies’s sell out London event, we can’t wait to see what more is in store for this captivating, visionary talent.
