Skkkkrrrrtttt to ANCUȚA SARCA AW24: A Corp-core Twist on Sustainable Fashion

Ancuța Sarca AW24 brought a jaw-dropping blend of eco-consciousness, avant-garde design and the corp-core trend to the vanguard of London Fashion Week AW24.

Pulling inspiration from cult classics like “American Psycho” and “Fight Club,” the cluster of models wearing the pieces emanated an eerie yet captivating aura, capturing the essence of an empty airport lounge with a masterful touch. Models strutted in Ancuța’s latest footwear innovations, from bold minimalist sandals to statement knee-high boots, her dedication to sustainability shone through in every aspect of the collection.

Collaborating with HILOS, the brand introduced groundbreaking 3D-printed wedge soles, crafted from a fusion of durable nylons and flexible TPU. These sandals not only boasted an aerodynamic form but also a tactile texture that begged to be touched.

Ancuța Sarca seamlessly blended teddy fleece jumpers and recycled car seat leathers to create boots of various lengths, each embodying the brand’s signature silhouettes with effortless fineness. We were gagging over the statement knee-high boots which featured deadstock leathers and faux furs, while surplus fabrics from past seasons found new life in ankle boots with wing details and ankle-strap kitten heels.

… and this season Ancuța introduces the Hoodie Bag. Crafted with a sturdy foam structure and accented with deadstock velour and drawstring elements, this bag redefined the concept of versatility. With a design reminiscent of a tracksuit, it effortlessly captured the slumber mood of an airport lounge, adding a touch of urban edge to any ensemble.
